LIKASTOLPEN with ClimbSafe™
Lika is a Norwegian company belonging to the L.T.L group, a national player in the construction products, industry and real estate sectors, with a turnover of more than 80 M € per year.
For several years, and anticipating the ban on the use of creosote treatments for its customers, Lika has developed and patented a new technology of electric poles intended for DSO (Energy Distribution System Operator) and Telecom networks.
After several years of research and development, in close collaboration with its pilot customers, Lika finally launches its product on the market.
Lika poles are first of their kind hybrids, environmentally friendly and extremely durable, they have no toxic drainage and have a lifespan of up to 80 years.
After use, it can be burned in incinerators where it provides new energy to society in the form of hot water or electricity (wate-to-energy). This is how we optimize the use of energy throughout the product Lifespan.
Transport, storage and installation is done the same way as a wooden pole using the same tools, the same fixing material and the same climbing equipment as well as the same procedures.
LIKA has also developed ClimbSafe ™ to respond to the problems of its Scandinavian customers. ClimbSafe ™ is a patented solution that creates a unique surface texture on our poles and provides unparalleled climbing safety, year-round – summer and winter.
Even in negative temperatures, ClimbSafe ™ offers unrivaled grip on standard climbing shoes. The solution also offers very high friction for the pole loop and rope, and good grip capacity for gloves and hands.
Our posts are manufactured in our own ISO9001 and 14001 certified factory. Strict quality control procedures are put in place for the monitoring of each post produced!
